About Chris Waller Consulting
Chris Waller Consulting (CWC) was established in 2013 by Chris Waller.
Chris Waller worked at The Royal Blind Society, known as RBS and then Vision Australia for 15 years as an Assistive Technology Consultant. After leaving Vision Australia in 2013 Chris Waller Consulting was set up to conduct workplace assessments for people who are blind or have low vision. Its goal was a return to client centric assessments conducted in a timely manner.
Well over a thousand assessments have been completed since then, adding to the several thousand assessments completed at RBS and VA. These assessments look at equipment solutions to assist in overcoming barriers to employment. A comprehensive assessment is undertaken at the place of work and a report with recommendations is prepared for the funding body.
We are based in Newcastle and assessments are conducted all over NSW and ACT, and occasionally interstate. So far, all states and territories have been visited except WA.
Chris Waller Consulting are able to conduct Braille based assessments and recommend specific equipment for Braille users.
